Kärppäkivenlehdon syvänteeseen juoksee pieni puro. Vesi solisee, metsälehmukset huojuvat ja lehdet välkkyvät valoja ja varjoja. Lintujen laulu kaikuu notkossa. Lähdemetsässä huumaa näsiä ja tähtitalvikin tuijotus. Yhtäkkiä iltatuuleen leviää valkolehdokin tuoksu. Valkoiset terälehdet hohtavat hämärässä. Satasarvisen huipulla valo siivilöityy honkien lomasta, eikä mikään näytä enää samalta kuin ennen.
A small stream flows into the basin of The Grove of the Ermine's Stone. The water babbles, and Small-leaved Limes sway with lights and shadows. The song of birds echoes in the hollow. Mortal Mezereons and the gaze of One-Flowered Wintergreens in the Forest of the Spring. Suddenly, the scent of the Lesser butterfly-orchid spreads in the evening wind. The white petals glow in the twilight. At the top of the Hill of the Hundred Horns, light filters through the gaps in the trees. Nothing looks the same anymore.
